Day 2 Iceland: We took another day tour with @holi

Day 2 Iceland: We took another day tour with @holiday_tours_iceland through @getyourguide and it was one of our favorite days! Fortunately the weather wasn’t pretty good so we were able to go glacier hiking which was not only a workout but one of the coolest experiences.

The tour was also a full day tour, though a smaller group tour (max 15 people):
1 & 2: Skógafoss Waterfall
3: Seljalandsfoss
4 - 8: Sólheimajökull
9 & 10: Black sand beach

Iceland Day 1: We went on a tour with @guidetoicel

Iceland Day 1: We went on a tour with @guidetoiceland where we spent time exploring the Golden Circle and had an attempt at snowmobiling. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough for us to actually snowmobile but we were able to go on the glacier and walk around/take photos!

The tour was about a 10 hours and made a few stops along the way:
1, 2, & 3: Langjökull Glacier
4 & 5: Gulfoss Waterfall
6 & 7: Geysir
8 & 9: Þingvellir National Park

We finally had the chance to try @amsterdonuts.nl this morning and for two people who love donuts, this place hit the spot. You can find more specialty donuts here (crème brûlée, pistachio, lemon meringue, etc) so it’s not your average donut shop!
They are only open Fri-Sun & can prepare a special breakfast donut with eggs & bacon on the weekends until 1p! That one might have been my favorite 🤤

Were we influenced by TikTok? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely yes.
Just a 45 minute drive from Amsterdam you will find @alpaca.ecofarm where you can have high tea with the furry animals, walk them, or even have team workshops! We chose to have high tea where we had time to meet, feed and pet the alpacas for over an hour while we sipped on coffee/tea and had little bites. It’s the perfect activity to bring visitors or if you are looking for a day date!

Giethoorn in autumn 🍂 🍁 This was my second time visiting this little carless village and I would say I enjoyed it more with the changing leaves & the crisp air. We had a boat tour, time to walk around and grabbed lunch at a little local Italian restaurant; a Saturday well spent 😊
