Below are a list of cute boutique hotels within the city center of Amsterdam. This includes the neighborhoods of Jordaan, De Wallen, Rembrantplein, Leidseplein, and Jodenbuurt. There are also boutique hotels that are further from the Old Centre (near Museumplein and Vondelpark. You can take a tram into the city if you so choose.

1. Boutique Hotel the Noblemen (13 rooms)

This hotel is a great option for people wanting to be within the heart of the city, but don’t want to be in the immediate bustle. The Nobleman is located about 500 metres from Leidseplein, 700 metres from Rembrandtplein and 1000 metres from Dam Square. It’s also a short distance from the Anne Frank House and the many museums Amsterdam has to offer.

The rooms come with complimentary breakfast, air conditioning, a flat screen TV, a private bathroom (with a hair dryer), a kettle & coffee maker and a safety deposit box. The hotel amenities include a spa (with sauna and steam room) and room service.

The Craftsmen is located very close to Dam Square (approx. 550 metres) and features beautiful views of the city. There are many different room sizes ranging from a tiny single rooms to a large family room.

Quite literally in the heart of the city center, in Dam Square, sits Hotel TwentySeven with amazing views of the Royal Palace. This is a newer hotel that has 16 individually designed rooms with a range of personalized services and fine dining experiences.

All suites offer designated views and are individually designed with handmade materials and fabrics, such as oak wooden floors, silk- carpets and sofas! Each suite features climate control and ambiance lighting, a coffee maker, a flat-screen smart TV, and is decorated with art pieces from the Cobra gallery. The modern and marble bathrooms include a steam shower and bubble bath. This is the boutique hotel of all boutique hotels!

4. Misc Eatdrinksleep (6 rooms)

Misc Eatdrinksleep is a boutique hotel that was converted from a 17th century canal house! Each room has it’s own theme and overlook either the canal or beautiful gardens. This hotel is located very close to the Nieuwmarkt Square and is only a 7 minute walk from Dam Square.

Each room comes with a coffee and tea maker, air conditioning (only in canal facing rooms), free non-alcoholic drink and snacks, a safety deposit box, TV and private bathroom with a hair dryer.

5. Mr. Jordaan (34 rooms)

Mr. Jordaan has a unique backstory – not like the other boutique hotels in Amsterdam. First off, they are located a little off the beaten path, but still very close to everything (off of Prinsengracht). This hotel goes back to the sixties when the founder decided to advertise his couch at the local tourist agency. Everyone loved it, so the couch turned into a room, which then turned into two, which turned into a floor, and so on. Even the house next door gave into Mr. Jordaan’s charm to create an entire boutique hotel! This hotel is known as a home away from home for travelers from all over the world!

These rooms are simple yet very comfortable and provide the general amenities travelers need. They come with a continental or buffet breakfast, air conditioning, private bathroom, safety deposit box, and a coffee maker.

6. The Dylan Amsterdam (40 rooms)

One of the most enchanting boutique hotels in Amsterdam, The Dylan is very stylish and offers modern decor along wit, personalized service and five-star amenities. This hotel is on the Keizersgracht canal and is a short walk from Dam Square and other landmarks in Amsterdam.

The Dylan offers rooms and suites, some of them specially designed by Studio Linse and Remy Meijers, a well-known Dutch designer. The Pavilions Amsterdam is two 17th century historic canal buildings with elegant accommodation alongside the famous Keizersgracht canal, around the corner from the Anne Frank House. The decor of each room is unique, with different views depending on their location in the house. They have a great breakfast in the morning and also have a trendy bar that serves refreshing drinks during the day.

10. Luxury Suites Amsterdam – Member of Warwick Hotels (25 rooms)

Situated in the characteristic canal district, Luxury Suites Amsterdam only offers spacious 5-star suites with bathrooms of 10 to 20 square metres. Royal Palace Amsterdam is 700 metres from Luxury Suites Amsterdam, while Rembrandt House Museum is a 3-minute walk. This hotel has 24-hour reception and guests can enjoy the hotel bar.

This hotel is an attractive and quality hotel that is located in the heart of Amsterdam close to the Anne Frank House. All of the rooms have different designs and the floors are color-coded. 13. Grand Canal Boutique Hotel and Apartments (6 rooms)

This hotel is a 1680 townhome that looks out over the Keizersgracht canal in Amsterdam, in the centre of the Nine Streets shopping area. This is one of the smallest boutique hotels with only 6 rooms and as the name says, the location offer rooms and as well apartments for a more independent stay.

The boutique-style apartments include a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, gas stove and a Nespresso coffee machine. Canal Boutique Apartments also include a sofa, flat-screen TV and a dining area in the open-plan living rooms.
